Pamela Blotner
Curator
Pamela Blotner is an artist and curator whose art has been informed by her work for Human Rights Watch, Physicians for Human Rights, and the UC Berkeley Human Rights Center. In 2014, she curated “Envisioning Human Rights” an exhibition held at the University of California, Berkeley and the Center for Transitional Justice in San Francisco. Her sculpture and drawings have been exhibited overseas and throughout the U.S.
Mie Preckler
Curator
Mie Preckler is a visual artist whose site-specific and site-responsive installations and interventions have been shown throughout the U.S., South America, Asia and Europe. Born in Antwerp, Belgium, she has received numerous awards and honors, including grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Phyllis C. Wattis Foundation. Mie Preckler currently lives in Oakland, where she is a Professor at the California College of the Arts.
Aung Myint Tun
Yangon Coordinator
Aung Myint Tun was born in Yangon, Myanmar, and attended Yangon Institute of Education. He briefly worked as a teacher in local schools before becoming Gallery Manager for the artist collective, Lokenat, one of Yangon’s first galleries dedicated to exhibiting local contemporary art. He has organized, managed and designed exhibitions by some of Myanmar’s most acclaimed artists, many who are represented in Artists Beyond Boundaries.
Elizabeth Addison

Elizabeth Addison is an artist, educator and curator whose widely collected prints are included in The California Endowment permanent collection and numerous public and private ones. Informed by the relationship between science and artistic vision, Addison invokes the threshold created at their intersection. Her most recent works are in response to visual and functional connections between the microscopic and the cosmic realms.
Theint Thinzar Soe
Student Intern
Theint Thinzar Soe, also known as Cynthia, is a Burmese painter and animator. Born in 1997 in Yangon, Myanmar, she is inspired by the movement of figures, and how one is able to manipulate and give life into animated characters. She is currently studying animation at the California College of the Arts. Her collage works, inspired by stories, have been exhibited in New Treasure Art Gallery. She is a great believer in the power of story telling and the arts.
